Yiyipf

Yiyipf. Possibly my favorite online store ever. I bought my first order about a month ago, and I was happy with almost every single thing. (Some of it I want to lose a few more pounds before I wear them, however. Not that they don't fit, I just think they'd look cuter -5 pounds.)

If you're new to Yiyipf it can be quite confusing. My first experience took a few times. It's called a wholesale store, which basically means that you can't just buy one thing. Some stores make you buy 10, some make you buy at least 2 of each item. Yiyipf makes you buy at least 20, but thankfully you don't have to buy the same thing twice. (And, a trick I've learned, if you can't pick out 20 things, there are certain items that are sold out, yet still listed, so you can add those to your cart, then they'll be taken away and you won't have to pay for them, but you still get your order.)

If you ever want to order from there, first set up an account. Then go find the things you like an add them to your shopping cart. Once you have at least twenty things you'll go to your cart and press "buy", or "next", or whatever it is says, and it'll take your information, then you place your order. Then you wait. (You don't pay for it right away. This confused me the first time.)

You have to have either paypal, a Western Union account, or be able to transfer through a bank account to use this one. Paypal is easiest, I feel, and works just fine if you have a debit or credit card. I've heard of some shady things happening with paypal, but I've yet to have a problem.

With 24 hours the site owner will send you an email detailing the amount you owe plus shipping. He'll also list if anything is sold out. If you want to replace something that is sold out, from my experience you can email him back and he'll work it out with you.

From there you send your money, let him know, and within the next week or two you'll get your order. (Mine was great time, considering it came from China. About a week.)

Because it's wholesale, you get a great deal. But, forewarned, you can't go into it not expecting to spend at least 150 dollars, most likely. This may seem like a lot, but when you're buying 20 different things, it's a pretty good deal. And these are good quality clothes. The clothes themselves are really cheap (By the way, if you scroll down, you can switch the currency. Otherwise it'll be on the Chinese Yuan [I believe it's called] automatically.) but shipping is what makes it expensive.

Now, anyway, onward to clothes.

From my first order, these are my favorites:

I haven't been able to wear the last one yet, as the weather has been really crummy where I live, but I'm excited for when I can. The second one is by far my favorite. I didn't think it would be, but it's the most comfortable shirt I've ever worn. And it's really long (as most of these are) so I don't have to worry about the gap my jeans make. I bought mine in green.

I won't post all 20 items I bought today, as that would be overkill, but I'll show my favorites.

My Suspender Fixation:

I love, love, love the look of suspenders, but I haven't been able to find any in US shops. So I went crazy-happy when I saw these two things on yiyipf. Actually, that's the sole reason I bought everything, just for these two things. (Not that I didn't like everything else, though.) I just pray to dear God that they fit all right.

Otherwise, it's pretty much back to my usual girly-girl frill style.

I bought the sweat pants on that one. They look incredibly cute, and I'd probably wear them in public.

These next two shirts are the only time I've bought the same thing but in different colors. And man, if I could have, I'd have boughten even more colors. They're just so vibrant and fun. Plus, it reminds me of the shirt above, but in short-sleeve, and I loved that o

So there you have it. An overview on yiyipf, possibly the BEST SITE IN THE WORLD. (Okay, I'm sure there are better ones. But right now I'm yiyi-crushing.) I highly recommend it. Although, fair warning, since everything is made for Asian bodies, anything past a B-cup (US) might not fit. Luckily I am fairly flat-chested and this isn't a problem for me, but for things that aren't free-size, be careful.

Shoe Report

For most of my life I really hated shoes. I mean, I had this terrible, intense disliking for anything that covered my feet. (Socks included.) Over the years I got more used to them, but I never really thought to myself, "You know what I could spend a lot of money on? Shoes." It seemed like such a cliche girl thing as well, but I just didn't see the appeal.

Since the discovery of ballet flats in bright colors and ankle boots, or boots in general, my outlook has changed.

I'm still not a SHOES!!!-girl, but I do enjoy decorating myself with a pleasant pair. One of these days I'll invest some money in a good pair of shoes, (Because, as much as I would hate to do it, good shoes make happy feet.) but for now I keep going for the cheap ones.

Recently I discovered an awesome site for decent priced shoes. It's called Cutesy Girl and they sell more than just shoes. (I've only boughten shoes, however.) I decided to try them out, even though I'm really paranoid about buying shoes online, and for the most part it worked out well.

My first pair I bought were a pair of yellow flats. I have been wanting bright, yellow ballet flats for over a year now. (As well as a button up yellow cardigan sweater. If anyone knows of one, let me know, ASAP. My yellow mission is only half way done.) They looked a little something like this:

Bright, right? And yes, those are crowns. I'm not one for fake-bling-bling, or bling-bling at all, but because they were the perfect color, and because I love references to Princesses, I decided to go for them.

Verdict? They fit! And are really cute. For the most part comfortable, although the back occasionally digs into you. (I can't stand wearing shoes without socks [I know, I know, faux-pas] so it would probably we worse without them.) But when I was at The Keg today celebrating my Mum's birthday (Happy Birthday on Saturday, Mommy-dearest) the waitress noticed them right away and complimented them.

My second pair were these bad boys:

These are cute. Really cute. I felt super stylish wearing them and they made me taller, which was a plus. But will I wear them much? No. Why? Because they are the devil's shoes.

These things killed my feet. I was barely walking in them, too. When I was sitting they were fine, but holy-jeeze. I know shoes can be painful (Which is partially why I have never liked shoes that much) but these were bad. I'll break them out again, maybe when I go apply for a job, but I won't wear them if I have to walk more than 50 feet. Really, though, they were only $9.99, so I should have expected it.

But if you feel like you can handle the pain, click here.

Welcome to Little Girl Fashion

Before we start, when I call this blog Little Girl Fashion, I mean that not in a creepy pedofile way, or a midget way, or clothes for toddlers or young girls. What I mean is Fashion for girls that are naturally built smaller who are full grown.

I'm 5 foot 1.75 inches tall. I have a big butt (Well, big for my size) but a small waist. These two factors alone have made buying clothes ridiculously hard for me. First off, the average American girl is about 5'4" to 5'5", which is 3-4 inches I am not. Thus, clothes are generally made to fit those girls, and while I can fit into larger clothes, I don't look...how do you say...stylish in them.

The second factor has wreaked havoc on me in terms of pants especially. No matter what I try, belts, bigger size jeans, smaller size jeans, low-ride jeans, you-name-it jeans, the back will always gap open because the thigh-to-waist ratio is not correct. (Although I have found that high-wasted jeans fix this problem, but it causes another problem: I'm wearing high-wasted jeans.)

I'm still on the quest to find the PERFECT JEANS. If I ever find them, I will let you know.

But recently I've found some great (online) sites that offer clothes for smaller girls. My trick I've learned? Korean and Japanese clothes are amazing. So I decided to make a blog (mostly to entertain myself) about fashion I find, and spread on what I've learned for those who might suffer the same issue I do.

Will this be a blog where I post clothing and shoes and accessories from expensive places that are generally 40 dollars+ for just one clothing? Heck no! I'm more frugal than...well, I'm just really frugal. (Analogies sometimes elude me.) I can't stand paying more than 10 dollars for a shirt.

I've suddenly lost track of where I was going with this introductory post, so I'm going to end it fairly soon.

I'll put this disclaimer at the end: I'm no expert in fashion, and I don't even know if what I wear could be considered "good" fashion, nor am I persueing anything career what-so-ever in fashion. (Far from it. I'm probably going into a career where no one will ever see my face.) I'm doing this mostly for fun.
